We have three Elders at Emmanuel who lead the fellowship here, one of which is our Pastor. You can find out more about them below.

Steve Baston
I’m Steve and I was born in Swindon. I had the privilege of being brought up in a Christian home and became a Christian at a young age. I came to Cardiff University, studied History and attended Emmanuel as a student. Since then I have served the Church first as Deacon, where I was the Church Treasurer, and then in more recent years as an Elder. My interests outside of Christian work are reading and supporting Swindon Town FC!
Glyn Ellis
Hello. My name is Glyn. I was born in Welshpool, Mid Wales, but moved to Cardiff to start training as a teacher in 1988. I liked the city so much I’ve stayed ever since. I didn’t become a Christian until I was 18 and became a part of the church in Emmanuel after I married my wife Fflur in 1994. We have 3 grown up children. Outside of Emmanuel, I spend a lot of my time working as a Deputy head teacher in a large primary school in Ely. In what little spare I have, I enjoys reading, spending time with friends and family, as well as playing and watching sport.
