Emmanuel is an evangelical church that meets in Gabalfa, an estate in the north of Cardiff. ‘Evangelical’ means that we believe the Bible’s message is true and it is good news. That message is life-transforming — the Bible tells us that God is real, that He loves the world, and that He wants not only to change our lives, but to completely transform them for the better. Because Christianity is about what God has done through His son Jesus, it’s not a message about rules and regulations, but a message of hope and of freedom.
Our members live all over the city. We come from many different backgrounds and are all different ages, but we’re united by that life-changing experience of Jesus.

Hello – I am writing a book on the Baptist churches of Cardiff (I am the organist at Bethany, Rhiwbina), and would be grateful if you could give me a list of your ministers, with dates, since your opening in 1966/7 up to Rev John Woolley – and any information you think relevant – such as the progress of the Bay Church. have you links with Gabalfa Baptist still?
